Beryl

Beryl is a mineral that comes in a variety of vibrant colours and is the source of several well-known gemstones, including emerald, aquamarine, and heliodor. It is composed of beryllium aluminium cyclosilicate and is prized for its clarity and durability. The colour of beryl gemstones depends on trace elements within the crystal: green beryl becomes emerald when it contains chromium, while blue beryl turns into aquamarine when it contains iron. Beryl is widely used in jewellery and is admired for its brilliance and range of hues.
